Stopped here while on our train ride, it was wonderful to get our food ordered, we were able to eat quickly, check out the town & get back onto the train with ease. Obviously the restaurant knew we were coming so we didn't have an issue with lunch. Thank you for that!!

We had an excellent lunch. The food came quickly. The Classic hamburger was well prepared, juicy and delicious. The Little Red Corvette (chicken salad on rye) was very good and all I could eat. We'll definitely be back!

The food was so good the day before we went, that we had to go back to try breakfast the next day. We were not disappointed. It was delicious. We'll probably be back at least a third time before our trip is over. Staff is super friendly and the food is great! Lots of choices, and it's a cozy atmosphere.

Hidden Gem Alert! This place is a Hidden Gem. We were up in Lake Placid where I volunteer for a church camp every year. We broke away for breakfast at Glenda Jean's and we were not disappointed. Biscuits and gravy were perfect as worthy eggs and hash browns. Pancakes were fantastic and the omelettes were fantastic. The service was perfection and the restaurant is meticulously clean. 10/10

I'm totally in love with the catfish platter and Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn... The staff is totally from out of this world so friendly and very welcoming to all who wants to enjoy a home style hot meal... The price is affordable and the menu is so delicious to look at... Thank you staff of Glenda Jean's Country Kitchen for feeding me and my Dad... You all Rock

I can tell this is a local favorite - everyone knows each other and are all super welcoming to visitors. The ladies that work there are the sweetest around and are very accommodating. We were able to get water and coffee to go when we left. The hash browns are crispy which in my opinion are the best way to serve them. The waffles are fluffy, bacon & sausage are savory and the Philly Scrambler is a must have! From the food to the atmosphere you'll feel like you're enjoying a comforting home cooked meal!

Went in for lunch today. They had a hamburger special any hamburger 12 bucks along with sides and a drink. I got the Philly steak hamburger it was more than I could eat. And in mentioning the fact it was my first time in I got this free dessert which was a cinnamon bun with lots of frosting that they bake daily. I can't wait to try it out. Service was excellent people were coming in and out faster than those girls could wait on them. Definitely a recommendation in Lake placid
